Sims 4 can't access their outfits in live play mode.

I just updated my game after not playing Sims 4 for several months. The household I'm playing has 3 adults and 3 children.

In CAS mode, I can edit my sims and change their clothing and accessories as normal. When I return to live mode, the outfits are not there. If I click on my sim or use the dresser to "change outfit" it shows me a copy of the previous outfit 3x. If I use the dresser to "plan outfits" and return to CAS they are visible on the CAS but my sims don't/can't wear them in live mode. The outfits are visible on the main menu before I load the game as well.

I do not use any mods. I have the newest expansion pack and game update and I'm wondering if it's a bug within one of those things? I've repaired the game, cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the game. The problem remains. What's going on?

    shafezi are any of these Sims from cupid's corner ?

    Could you post a pic of the outfits selection screen ?

    By outfits are not there you mean they are still wearing the old ?

    There was no resolution for the issue. I deleted that household. By "outfits not there" I mean there was empty space where the clothing should have been.
