Hey, just noticed that there are actions that clash where one of the actions should be disabled. For example, some friendships should be disabled upon starting a relationship with someone so you can't 'ask them to prom as a friend' or something strange.
The expansion are released on July 28. You will have to wait until then to see how this works.
And why do you feel that you should not be able to invite a new friend as a friend?
I probably jumped the gun a bit when I posted this coz obviously I've only seen early access content of the highschool pack and itll be patched before release, honestly was kinda just interested in the response to feedback by EA haha. And sorry I didn't mean adding a new friend as a friend as there's no clash of options there. I was just watching some early access gameplay and noticed that when you start a relationship with someone you can still do certain options that don't really make sense for a couple and can have negative impacts on the relationship. The specific instance I saw it was when Lil Simsee invited her partner to the prom as a friend rather than a couple and then had to uninvited them adding a rejection emotion. To be fair, i didn't needa post this coz it's fairly obvious for most of the options that'll clash and they give creators early access to help find bugs like that.
