Sims 4 taking long to start game

Hi

So this recently happen where i would get on the sims 4 and would click resume on the main menu, which it would take forever to load.

In which i decided to look for answer and did everything i could do, like clear cache and repair the game and also move my sims 4 folder to my desktop. which resulted to making a new game and testing all my CC and Mods and everything worked fine and none of my mods were outdated and corupted, the loading in the  begining was normal. but once i added back my sims 4 folder to the EA Folder and started it up, the loading screen was taking forever again

I dont know what else to now.

  • @Monkespc7  Test your save in the new folder with no mods or custom content and see how long it takes to load.  You don't need to save your progress.

If loading is longer than, say, ten minutes, please close the game, restart your computer, and try loading a different household within that same save.  Let me know how it goes.

@Monkespc7  If you use the Load Game button, does it take longer than ten minutes to load into the world?  Or is that loading rather quick but loading your main household is slow?  If it's the latter, if you can load into the world fine, please choose a different household to play, in a different world, and let me know whether you can load that without issues.

Please also let me know whether you can load the world your main sims live in while testing in a new save.  It should be fine, but I want to make sure the problem isn't the installation of the world itself.
