My sims 4 game has been crashing due to an EA bug according to Sims 4 After Dark discord page after uploading my better exceptions report for "tuning". The suggestion was to go into my neighborhood stories and disable the relationship and romance options as an attempt to "help" or "solve" the bug issue however it has made no difference. My game has crashed 17 times in two days. How can we get EA to fix this bug?
The same thing is happening to me and it’s driving me crazy.
I have removed all of my mods and cc, started a new game to double-check to see if the mods and cc were the issue and they ended up not being the issue. It is a bug in the game and there's no way around it. I removed all mods and cc and attempted a repair now twice and took the Sims After Dark recommendation on removing the relationships and romance in the neighborhood settings but the "tunable" keeps popping up and crashing my game out. It will happen several times in a short time span of the better exceptions catching it then boom, crash.
I turned off Neighborhood stories completely and my game stopped giving exceptions
If you still have better exceptions installed, you're not fully mod free - that's a mod. Try fully removing all mods, delete any last exception files you have, then start a new save and see if it still crashes. If/when it does, check for a new last exception file and share it here.
