Can't open The sims 4 game again due to new update
I'm having trouble getting the app to open and work when I click on the game it acts like it's about to load then just snaps out again and I really don't know what to do I took all the mods out I clear the thumbcache, I just feel defeated with this game atp.
Game freezes and time stops but Sims still move
I don't know if I'll be able to state my issue clearly, but I'll try. I start up the game, hit resume game, and everything loads fine. However, once I start clicking around or try to go to a different sim, the game kind of freezes. The Sims still move; however, time has stopped. I cannot click on anything, save, or use the quit button. I have to manually shut it down using Task Manager. I've tried removing my custom content (no mods), removing old files and caches, but I have no idea what to do from this point. Any help would be appreciated. 50x50 lot in Willow Creek won't load
Lately, I have a lot in Willow Creek that's 50x50 that just won't load. On another save, it worked just fine. But with my main save it won't work. It tells me to restart my game, even though I've already done so. Multiple times. I've never used mods before and I've restarted my game multiple times now. I don't know what else to do. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Is there someone in Maxis or on The Sims team who can help? If so, please by all means, help me! I'm scared that part of my game might be broken and I don't know when the next update will be. And I'm also afraid for one of my households who don't have a house that can safely be loaded anymore. And I really, REALLY don't want to have to start my save all over again. 😔😢Random sims spawning on my lot
Every time I try play lots of random sims keep spawning on my home lot. Whenever I try to get rid of them new ones just spawn in. It’s causing issues with the game as everytime I try to invite sims I actually want over they don’t come as I assume there are already too many sims at the lot. I’ve tried to repair the game, I’ve deleted the localcashe file from its folder and have also uninstalled and reinstalled it but it’s still happening. The lot is a residential lot with no lot traits that would mean there would be more sims there. Anyone having the same issue?Data loss after game crash
Hi, I had a save file that i have spent hours on recently and made lots of progress (it's part of the generations challenge), and i don't save my game often until i actually leave, which never normally creates an issue for me. My game unexpectedly crashed today in the middle of playing, and when I reopened the app, my save file had reverted back to the last time i'd saved, meaning i lost all my progress. I then attempted to compensate for said lost progress, but realised it would take a long time - i closed my world and attempted a few different things; i tried to recover my worlds (i recovered 5 different versions of the world) and none of which were up to date with where i had left off before the game crashed, and i also tried renaming my oldest file from that world (in the ea save files on file explorer) from 'save.ver2' to just 'save', which also didn't work. I followed 2 YT tutorials, both of which told me the same thing, and nothing is working. The crash happened after I tried to make my sim go first person (shift and tab). Please help!!!!!!!
Resume Game causes never ending loading screen
I can sometimes 'load game' and repair the latest one and it will work for awhile. Usually until I travel somewhere (or go to work with a sim). Most recently, I was fixing up a newly purchased rental property and I had to return home to rent it out but I never got there. I've repaired the game numerous times, and repaired the saved games from the load game screen. I trashed the 'latest.. ' whatever/can't remember the wording, it's not crash) files from the Sims 4 folder in the Electronic Arts folder. It has not created another one since I did that, although I've had to force quit multiple times since. It's also been randomly quitting on me a lot more lately. I have just purchased a couple of packs from the exchange, and it seemed to happen after that. But I can't find those to disable them. If I uninstall the whole game, what will happen to my saved game? Can I uninstall and reinstall everything and make it work again with my existing game file? I'm on a mac laptop, OS 26.3.1 (a), No mods, but lots of additional content.My game is broken, EVERYTHING is gone
Recently my game is just broken, i build houses and create entire households but when i try to load in, it shows an error and EVERYTHING is gone. Even the stuff i uploaded in my gallery! No matter how often i reinstall the game and try making new slots, nothing works...
Sims 4 Game crashes
So i´ve been waiting for the game to get fixed since the last notice,but my game still crashes once i choose any of my game saves.I updated all of my cc,deleted the cache and everything,but it keeps happening.Then ea opens up and shows a message that it crashed due to ea´s side.Please help!!
