@DeskCoffee, I didn't even know the bats came in 2 different colors! 😮 😃 So thanks for educating me! 🙂 I don't know how to get a white bat, so the only thing I can think of is if maybe your Vampire has either the Good personality trait, or maybe if your Vampire's Aspiration is to be a Good Vampire (the kind that tries to live off plasma packs and fruit, and feels guilty if they drink from a Sim).😇 But this is just a guess. 🤔 I will try to find out, and if I discover anything I will tell you. 😉 Thanks again for your wonderful screen shots! ❤️

You can see the two different colors in the Gameplay Trailer when two vamps Woohoo as Bats at 1:43. The male sim turns into the white bat.
But I've had my sims do that and they were always the same dark grey bats.
I've gotten my sim to where all the vampire aspirations are achieved (using no cheats) and that seemed to do nothing.I don't think I've tried making a vamp with a good trait, yet.But I somehow feel that won't be it either. :/
I did once think that maybe your sim needs to have "x" amount of offspring/underlings or a ton of vamp experience, but I didn't test that yet.Edit: Made a Good Traited vamp, and no white bat. Then I thought what if it was a good vs evil thing, maybe the sims in the trailer were good and evil?
Made an Evil Traited Vamp and had them Woohoo, no white bats...

@DeskCoffee, well, it was worth a try! 🤭 😳 Thanks for your update! 😇 I think maybe it then just must be random. In real life this would mean the lighter bat has a recessive gene and the darker bat has a dominant gene, but I do not know if there is any genetic component to this or not. But that could explain why the lighter bat is rare. 🤔
If I find anything out, I will tell you! Please do the same, since I am now wondering how to get different colors. 🤓
- Anonymous8 years agoI'll definitely post if I even see the white bat lol.
Yeah, maybe it is genetic?
This might be an odd hypothesis but in another game, Wolf Quest, you need to have like 5,000 (don't remember exact amount) exp points for one of your wolf offspring to be white.
So what if you need two master vampires and they need a bunch of vamp points when they woohoo for a kid?
Or perhaps it depends on the amount of generations in a given lineage?
I had a family of master vamps once but that file got deleted. ._. And I wasn't paying attention in that one.
