SIMS 4 when aging up noxious clouds & kneeling

Several issues w/ SIMS 4 when aging up infant to toddler and then adult - noxious clouds & kneeling (game thinking they're still babies) PC/no cc

I use a PC to play Sims 4 and have no custom content or mods.  Here is what I'm seeing:

(1) I decided to age up my alien infants to toddlers (using cas.fulleditmode) and noticed that they always seemed to have a noxious green cloud coming out of them regardless of how many times their diaper was changed or bathed them.

(2) Then when I aged up the alien toddlers to child (using the birthday cake), the noxious clouds continued with the other sims reacting to the smell.

(3) When I aged up the alien children to young adult (using cas.fulleditmode), the noxious cloud disappeared, but then the game still identified them as infant/toddler.  They would out of nowhere kneel on the ground and notifications would show up with things like this toddler suffers from hiccups or some something like that.  

(4) I also aged up a non-occult infant to young adult (using cas.fulleditmode) and got the kneeling on the floor and infant/toddler notifications for that sim.  

It's really kind of crazy watching them on a date and then sinking to their knees as if they're a baby.  

It looks like it may be something with the cas.fulleditmode cheat, but I also haven't aged up any of my others recently.
