Sims cannot cook

So I asked my sims to cook. They cook and prepare it. But when come to pick it up from counter it say they can reach it. Is there a problem or this has something with the mods i have?

@mohammadali118 I'm guessing it may be the Mods/CC. It sounds like you were wither not able to fully test without them and the cache cleared, or there was an issue with them and the patch and how they're activating or something? Neither @PugLove888 or myself use Mods/CC, so though we can provide directions for testing without them to troubleshoot, I think either @CGrant56 or @RandomBuzziness would be good to consult on if you are having an issue with the Mods/CC in combination with activating them correctly, so I am tagging them also in hopes that one is online now.
What concerns me for the usual suspects is that you said it happens on a different household also - that they are unable to reach the food when they go to prepare it. Now if there is a similar setup in both cases with something blocking that could be possible. Have you tried moving the stove and a countertop and the refrigerator into the middle of an empty room (or even the yard) with plenty of space then see if the Sim has an issue getting to it from there?
Another couple of things that would help us is if you could provide a screenshot, and if you could upload the lot or the room that you're having the issue with to the gallery. If you upload it we could test it in our game and see if we see the same issue or have suggestions. If you upload it to the gallery, please provide us with the exact name of the room or lot, and your name in the gallery if it's different than it is here.

is this a new build and did you put place plants outside near to where you put down the meal? if you put the plants up against the wall with some of the footprint under the counter.. it can have that effect. https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Feedback/Build-Mode-Issue-to-be-aware-of/m-p/9191467/highlight/true#M30534 I had issues to where my sim could not get into the bathtub.

@RavenLure Not really a new build 😅 plus my sim can use the counter to prepare the food it just when about to cook they unable to reach it. I also played different household and same problem occur. They can prepare for cooking but when it time to cook they seem to unable to reach it. I dont know what else to do. 😔

@mohammadali118, thank you for your update on your situation. Your Mods/CC sound like they are probably not the cause, if you did all the steps above, especially deleting the local them cache file.package. 🤨

It could be a bug, like @RavenLure suggested, but it could also be a glitch where something is blocking your path or counter or stove from letting your Sims cook.😞 This would sometimes happen before the recent patches , and can happen in older or newer builds. Sometimes it is a shelf above where the Sims cook, or a light fixture, wall decoration, or even a dirty plate that got stuck in the wall (it has happened to me before ☹️). There was also an older bug where if your Sims had any plates hidden in the home they wouldn't do certain actions like clean up plates that weren't hidden but I think it was fixed. 🤔

I'm tagging @SheriGR since she has more expertise on building in the game and finding out how to fix such issues! 😇

  @PugLove888 Hi.. i appreciate your reply 😊 i just want to know even they cook before? The other household might be..i don't know where the one he cook for grand meal gone 😂 is there a way to clean the stove?

  @SheriGR Hi, thank you for your prompt reply. I appreciate it. Now both household can use the stove.😊 so I do not need to screen shoot or upload it on the gallery. 😊
