Sims cant bake together

Hi,

I have a bakery, and need to fill the coolers daily with all sorts. When i try to have my sims bake at the same time at their own working stations (each has 7 or more countertops, a fridge and an oven) they start the process alright, but when it comes to putting it in the oven one of the two will go over to the other, pick up their bowl as well and then pour the batter into the oven. When the baking is done, only the thing the first sim was baking is made, so i lose the thing the second sim was baking. I've not been able to solve this, and it's really hampering the amount of goods we can bake in a day. 

Is this a known issue, and if so are there any known workarounds?

    You could try making separate work areas for each employee, and locking the doors so that other employees can't enter. I don't know whether that will work but I think it's worth a try.

    I tried this as my bakery has a front and a back, both of which have working stations. When i locked the doors they started complaining that they couldn't get where they had to go (the little bubble with the footprints and arrow in red) and stopped baking altogether. They really want to take each other's batter man!

    It feels like a bug...
