Sims Can't Use Gaming Console

When using a non-CC TV and a non-CC gaming console, my sims are unable to play. They T-pose and then reset. I have a scanner that reads for errors and it can't find anything anymore. It says it's 10% sure that the error is just caused by interaction, but I've been dealing with this issue for almost a year.

I've tried running the game with no mods and no CC and it still happens, so I'm not sure what the issue is.
