Sims do the actions but not moving

When i make my sim do something, they will do it but not in the right place, instead they doing it in the place where they stand.. like, if i make them wash their hands, they will wash it but not even near the sinks, instead they doing it right in the place they standing. duh...

I'm not installing any mods yet, because I just installed this game right in this morning, I have already reset the game folder in the documents file (removing the "The Sims 4" folder so the game make the new one) but it's not working and not solve anything. I played it in pc and i got this game from steam. last time before i uninstalled the game, everything was work just fine, no bugs or even glitch happen, but this morning this bug kept happening even after i do resetting, and also I won't messing with the installation things inside the steam folder because I won't waste my time for reinstalling this again because my wifi is suck.

anyone can help?

    @puzzlezaddict Hey, i just want to say iv'e fixed this issue hehe, I'm doing deep cleaning with ts4 and ea/electronic arts folders in my file explorer and regedit, at first I make my pc went into safe mode and delete everything after uninstalled it in steam, after that i installed it again and open cmd type "sfc/scannow"+enter (my friend told me to repair my system in case there's conflict or corrupted file in my pc), i'm also verified the game files in steam and after that everything back to normal, but there's still some bugs like broken ui that won't let me open everything, my sim do really mean interactions and etc but yeah for fix it i just need to wait ea doing something because in X ea said theyre trying to fixing these issues (iv'e updated my game ofc but the ui bug still there idk, now i'll just wait ea fix everything)

    btw, now my sim can do anything, i'm even start using cc and mods, and as you can see now i'm also using reshader hehehehe, thanks for your help buddy <3

    @mermetrebus  Does this happen in a new save, playing on one of the default (EA-made) lots?  Please test if you haven't already, still with no mods or custom content.

    Hi, I'm experiencing the same problem. When the game updated, I removed all mods and made an a new save file and moved the sim into daisy hovel in willow creek. The same wouldn't move to do actions but it they still were technically doing them. I went to manage worlds and the same thing happened, I quit and reopened and the same thing. I tried a new save and same thing. Then I moved my the sims 4 folder out of electronic arts so an entirely new one would be created and the same thing occurred. So, I'm almost convinced it's a EA issue with the new patch.

    I've tried everything, my sim even go bald and got no house in Newcrest, everything was base game only, I don't even using any item from the dlcs, mod completely disabled, and everything still the same, won't move for doing the action, they keep doing the action in their place not in the action's place

    I make my sim go bald and not using any dlc items, i only tested with the new save sim only bcs like i said I've already deleted my old save files, even though using only base game items, the bug still there.

    when i uninstalled the game back then I've deleted everything about this game, so when i installed it again, technically everything is new again, no old save. the bug definitely from the game itself, there's no way this bug come from my pc since i got nothing about this game in my pc

    @mermetrebus  Then go ahead and make a bug report describing the issue.  Be sure to say you tested a new save, in a clean user folder, with no mods or cc.

    I can merge this thread with the bug report if you want, but please at least fill out the bug template.  If you're not prompted to do so, you can use this:

    Product: The Sims 4
    Platform:
    Which language are you playing the game in? 
    How often does the bug occur? 
    What is your current game version number? 
    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? 
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 
    What happens when the bug occurs? 
    What do you expect to see? 
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?
