Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)
- Any LastException/LastCrash files in your documents folder. Upload them to either google or oneDrive and post the link here.
This is exactly what mine is doing. Ever since I updated the game (I hadn't played in over a year...) it has been doing this. The blue box has gone. I am using mods, I think I need to remove the TOOL mod and the other twistedmexi mod as they are probably outdated, now that I think about it. I will try that and let you know what happens. I am on PC (Windows) and I will also check the documents for lastexception/lastcrash files
IT'S FIXED! I had to remove outdated mods/update my mods since I hadn't played it in so long!
ETA: ... I stand corrected. Time to go on an outdated mod hunt (it is still not showing complete icons/odd icons as I showed in my original post) but it is letting me open households now.
