Sims Family Won't Load Into Game

hello all,

I can't get my main sims family to load into ANY game.  However, other sims families will load fine.  I've tried many things to see what works including starting up a brand new game and trying to load my main family, but it doesn't work.  I am able to load and edit  the family in CAS, but it will not move them into a lot or neighborhood.  I would love to keep my original save if possible, but even a new game (save) will not work with this family.  I've even tried to split the family into individuals and they won't load that way either.  Any help is much appreciated.  

I've tried: 

Removing all CC.

Started a new game.

Used the "Fix game" option EA app.

Read and tried other "fixes" in this tech issues on the website.
