Sims gaining weight
Just started playing Sims 4 recently. My sim is gaining weight, a lot. Is this normal? I really do not want to play a sim who looks like me at my old age of 64 with the added weight, but must I? ...
@irrilia Following are some of the things I've tried in addition to sending them jogging (I had trouble with my sims stopping when they wear out of shape and not sticking to jogging) and the things mention having to do with food...

I have a harder time gettin children (and sometimes toddlers) to not be chubby, and sometimes resort to sending them to the ice cream (mentioned above) &/or swimming. It seems that if they age up chubby and I knock the weight down I don't see the issue return with the toddlers and children if they're eating and behaving in the 'normal' range of behaviors.
I often use the basketball hoop in the backyard for fitness and another player recently mentioned that Dream Big makes a Sim gain fitness skill rapidly. I tested it and it works. I can't find the thread again to thank the player that raised it. The hoop next to where the Spice Festival is held in the city works faster in my game, but adding them to a house or gym works too.
@SheriGR I never knew that about the Taste of Diet ice cream I just thought it was low fat, what a great tip! I've had that pack for ages too. 🤦
