Sims keep resetting every couple of seconds

After the most recent UI and world update, my sims have been resetting non-stop every couple of seconds. They will be sleeping and then suddenly resetting, or I would line up an action and it gets cancelled because they reset. Furthermore, whenever I click on a need to have the sims resolve it themself, half the time it just does not work anymore.
