Sims not displaying days till age up

Question

One of my sims only shows “number of days lived:229” instead of showing days till age up like the rest of my sims. This has happened periodically for the last few weeks but hasn’t been a big issue but now that he’s an elder I’d like to see when he’s going to die.

If your sim is an elder this is not a bug, it's the way the game is coded. I think it's because it's more realistic not knowing when your sim will die, also it adds to gameplay. You will still get a notification warning two times before your elder sim passes away♡
