Sims receiving nonstop phone calls and visits

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.65.70.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have all expansions, game packs, and stuff packs installed.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play in any household you have a save file for and make sure that your sim has friends.
What happens when the bug occurs? So I've been playing a Legacy Challenge for a few days now, and I started noticing this strange bug with my Sim's friends/neighbors. It manifests in two different ways: The first example I have is that my sims will get constant phone calls from their friends asking them to come over. I decline these requests because it's always when my Sims have to go to work in an hour or are busy taking care of their kids. Immediately after I reject these requests, the Sim who called mine will show up to the home lot and stand outside the front door. This will happen multiple times in a day from different Sims. My second example of this is that sometimes Sims that my Sim doesn't even know show up to my house and stand outside the front door. Vampires have done this - yet did not go inside to feed on anyone. Catarina Lynx showed up outside my home, and stood in front of the door despite the fact that none of my Sims in the family know her. In both cases, they all have stood outside for hours, even if there's a blizzard in the middle of winter.
What do you expect to see? Sims, whether I know them or not, should not be showing up unannounced to stand outside my Sims front door for hours on end. Especially after my Sim declined their request to hang out.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

There are some times where I use the "Send Home" feature on unwanted visitors. But, sometimes, I literally don't realize a Sim has been standing outside the front door until I go make my Sim throw out the trash or get the mail.

    @sweetenedvirgo this just sounds like standard door soliciting behaviour. You get a mix of friends and strangers that show up knocking on doors (and in the later hours this includes sims who may be vampires that aren't there to feed on your sims).

    There's different schedules and timings for these for different neighbourhoods. I see this way more in Willow Creek than in other places for example.

    If you don't want this, then set no solicitors/tresspass on the door options. But I don't see a bug here, this is how the game has always worked for me for years.
