Sims won't interact with objects or each other

Update: I've seen others say they 'fixed' the problem by disabling packs, so I did using James Turner's site (https://jamesturner.yt/disablepacks) and after a very long bout of checking each individual pack, I found that the bug was caused by: Spooky Stuff, Romantic Garden Stuff, Seasons, Discover University, Parenthood, and Dream Home Decorator. So, the game is playable for me right now with these disabled, but I'd of course prefer if they just worked how they're supposed to....
