Sims won't use the ERAM
For obvious reasons, my Sim won't use the Electromagnetic Research Archive Machine, even after repeated attempts. The Sim will display a thought bubble with a "no" symbol and cuss at it.

I will definitely try what you suggested, but when I am experiencing this issue my sim will be in a happy mood and still have these issues. But I hope that maybe the moodlet solver can help!
I wouldn't expect Moodlet Solver to help if your Sim is already Happy.
SmoggyLambGG's very obvious "problem" was the Sim's mood. I pointed it out just in case you hadn't noticed that. If your Sim is already in a good mood, then you have a different problem, and I don't know what it is.
