Sims4 Upload screenshot to files
Does anyone know how to upload a screenshot from Sims4 to your files? I can't find out how and need to upload some of my designs.
AidenNite10 You can add screenshots to a forum post by clicking on the camera icon at the bottom of the reply window and choose computer. When you click that, you should get a Windows popup, showing your Pictures folder. You can navigate to any folder on your computer though if the pic you want to load is elsewhere on your computer. Then you select your pic, click on open. The pic should then show up in the reply post where you can adjust size and location within the post. That said, one thing that may be stopping your pics uploading into a post is file size. Back when we were on AHQ, there was a file size limit of 2 mb. Ingame full size screenshots and ingame photos using the cameras or C keyboard command are PNG format and at least for me, every pic was above the limit, so I had to convert them to jpgs to upload them. Idk atm if that is the case here. But, if you have a graphics program that you can use to convert the format to jpg, give that a go and then try inserting the pic into a post. If that works, I suspect the error message you are getting is probably some default message as there might not be one for file size or the system just can't find it.
If it is not that, then it's most likely either your virus protection, or how you've set your security settings. Other things could be doing it like a bad internet connection that drops in and out. This is for Windows systems. Mac probably works about the same way but idk really since I am on PC.
The game does not need to be running. Once you take a pic ingame with an ingame camera or use the keyboard command (C) it goes into your screenshots folder inside your user folder. Once a pic is in the folder, you can move it at any time, even with the game running. If you take your screenshots using Windows commands like Windows Key Print Screen or a snip using Windows key Shift S, those screenshots go to wherever you have set up for them to go. For me, that's the Pictures folder. You might have yours set up differently though.
Hope this helps.
