"Something in your bones tells you to leave this plant alone" message started appearing when I tried to harvest my grafted plants, now I can't harvest anything in my garden. First it was only with the fire birds and orchids, I had a huge garden, but when I got enough simoleons I re-build the lot and reduce the garden, but now I can't harvest anything. Someone has the same problem? Or could tell me why this is happening now?
I'm having essentially the same problem as you.
I noticed my plants giving me the secret society message(which I've actually never seen till now and had to look up) and can't harvest them. It's all of my plants(on my home lot) and I think it happened to all of them at once. I've tried shift clicking to refresh them and nada. Tried traveling to other lots. Nada. Tried loading another family and then returning to my family. Nada. Tried waiting out the season change in case that was connected somehow. Nothin'. Tried Removing ALL MODS and deleting my thumbnail.cache. Nothing. Which also means this is definitely happening without mods although it did begin in a modded game. By the way this is affecting custom plants as well Incase that is helpful to know.
I'm going to try bulldozing and replacing my lot to see if that helps.
My game is fully patched and I have all Stuff/Game/Expansion Packs.
[EDIT]: Just realized this is in general discussion, not bug reports and there is no big report on this. Will have to make one later after I track down one more lead for possible cause.
Hi! Did you find a solution to the problem? I'm having the same issue in my game. None of my plants on one spesific lot can be harvested, very inconvenient since the sims living there are gardeners.
