Strangerville lab is empty

I just bought the strangerville package. I was working on the strangerville aspiration and everything was working fine. I got to the point where I was going to the secret lab to use the analyzer but when I arrived all the furniture downstairs in the lab was gone. I have tried to remove all mods, repairing the game, new save file, different household. Problem is still there..... I saw someone had a similar problem where the sim also disappeared, but in my case its only the furnitures.. please help

    Hi @ninfja Are you playing with any mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, please start at Broken/Updated Mods (pinned in this forum). If you still have issues after removing and replacing mods (don't forget to delete localthumbcache), see what happens after you drag that folder to your desktop and delete localthumbcache. (Don't save, though! Or test in a new game.)

    @ninfja 

    At what point in the story are you?  Have you gotten the biohazard suit and gotten to the lowest level yet?  

    What your pic looks like is the area before you've opened the security door at the top with the keycard.

    If anyone is still having this issue, you need to click on the door and use the key card before going downstairs to the basement. If not, the basement will be empty.
