Stuck in save loop

Every time I try building I'm stuck in a saving loop. I wondered if it was cc, so I removed my mods and had no luck. I can only place a couple items at a time and then save, then after that it doesn't save anymore. I'd load up the game and after like 2 minutes it won't let me save again and just loops. I have no idea what I can do to fix it, I keep having to force close through task manager and can't save my progress.
