It's buggie and a failure they have a harpie screeching in your ear your stuck in a house with everything disabled. Vampires accosting you on the street to and from work. Sometimes even invading your house when your sim dose'nt even have anything to do. pretty sad to grow old and die not even being able to use the freakn shower. They just need to scrap the whole thing and try again and this time with effort. The first one was better it actualy let you maintin your sim. this one dose'nt even give you that. Toddlers have more abilities and option then they give a full grown adult sim. Frustrated and angre with it 100%. your better off jumping in building a house with objects and messing around guessing then going through the tutorial and that's a sad sad shame. I can't belive they approved it who ever did should be fired.
Follow the tutorial steps. The various items will become available.
Notice that if you have any Mods you must remove them during the tutorial as they may interfere with it.

That can be a problem for some, but most of the posts here have already stated that they don't use mods or cc. I don't; my tutorial stalls every time. The steps get stuck, it doesn't tell you to advance, and the various items do not become available.

It is frustrating, the only thing that has worked for me is exiting the game, clearing the cache, then run a repair on the game. That seems to find the spot that is stuck, and lets you complete it if you're stuck on the first section.
