stuck on loading screen for manage world

i’ve been in build mode for about 3 hours, and of course i haven’t saved in a while. i tried to go to manage worlds and i’ve been stuck on the loading screen for about 40 minutes!! i’ve tried Alt-F4 but it’s doing nothing, is there any way i can save my work??

    @Zeebra19 If you're stuck in endless loading, there's usually nothing you can do other than closing down the game.

    Is this a build you just created or did you download it from the gallery and edited ?

    @crinrict It was a new build, and yes unfortunately i just had to close the game. i have since re-made what i lost, so other than a few hours wasted it’s all good. i’m going to start setting reminders to save the game every so often!!

    I cant even close the game, I can attempt to close the tab but it just doesn't work.

    I spent hours on this house and losing it will also mess up my other world builds😢

    The plan was to exit to worlds and save there and then this happened

    I don't know what to do, like i can't close it if i wanted to, it's so frustrating, I wish EA would actually fix these bugs rather than saying they do, and nothing changes😬

    If there's any suggestions they're welcome.
