Sudden issue with game not responding. The Sims 4.

Hey there!

I need some assistance. I just purchased The Sims 4 For Rent, along with some kits for the first time (Castle Estate, Book Nook, Decor to the Max, Modern Luxe), and now my game is crashing. It has never done this before now. I managed to create my sim and move her into a lot, but while building my first castle my game suddenly stopped responding. The first time it was while placing a trim upon a turret. The next while just extending a room. The time after that nothing worked. I could go into build mode or live mode (hoping that would be a fast fix), but getting the build tools to work was a no-go. I could try to drag walls or change colors but it would always revert immediately. In live mode, nothing responded. If I tried to "save and exit" I was stuck in an endless loading screen. "Exit Game" didn't work, and "Exit to the main menu" gave me the same loading screen issue.

Sorry for getting into minute details, but I want to be specific so someone might know where it goes wrong.

After the first time, I restarted my computer, "repaired" the game, and got back into it. It worked for a few hours (maybe), and then the same thing happened. After the second time, I forced the game to stop, tried going back in right away, and started building, but immediately the same issue was there.

Restarting the computer worked for a little while, but not for long, and if this is consistent I need to know if I'm the problem, my computer, or the game itself. I'm using the EA-App and repaired my game after the first time. I don't have any mods installed if that could be a potential cause.

I have heard weird things happening after the For Rent expansion, but not about this, and never about Kits, so I just don't know. I never got to try out any of the rental things coming with the For Rent pack, just the building stuff from the Castle Estate Kit, which makes me wonder.
