Suggestion: Hanging could be ameliorated by reducing popover priority
Hi, sometimes when loading Sims 4 it stops on a blank screen (just white nothing else) and usually recovers shortly. On PC.
However today it didn't recover. Although Windows was running fine, the popover priority of the game was causing issues. I could launch and close other programs, but I couldn't view or use the program windows--not even Task Manager--because Sims 4 was hogging the popover layer even whilst hanging.
Right click via Taskbar or Quicklaunch couldn't close the game. Task Manager should have been able to close the game, but it couldn't because it couldn't get its UI displayed and I'm not good enough on command prompt to do most tasks from there.
Is this a Microsoft issue or an EA issue?
