This is indeed a very frustrating intended feature. However, since it is by design, maybe we should use this thread to collect a list of all the Base-Game CAS items that are recycled and recolored into DLC packs. This can become a very helpful reference thread for CAS creators wishing to create Base-Game only or Limited-Pack characters for the gallery.

CAS assets that add Swatches to existing items may confuse players into thinking they are missing assets when filtering by pack. These items are listed on the EA Store page, but not listed in CAS. Example: The Long Tights of Fitness Stuff are labeled as Base Game in CAS. When a player filters by Fitness Stuff, the Long Tights are missing.
