This happened to my sim, but not because I downloaded her from the gallery. The tarot cards reset when I moved the sim to another household. So now I cannot complete the deck because the quests are greyed out and I have all of the tarot cards in her inventory. I was only 3 cards from completion. So annoying.

I finished all of the Lenore quests before it happened. But the tarot cards that I got were greyed out in the collection menu, even though I had them all in my inventory.

Sorry for the delayed response. I can no longer show pictures of it.
I came around the issue by moving the sim back to the original household. I then gifted the cards that were greyed out in the collection menu between two sims in the household. That worked and I could complete the deck.
