The Sims 4 has no personality

After The Sims team released their "laundry list" of bug fixes, I've been thinking about why it might not sit right with myself, along with a lot of other players. Yes, these game-breaking bugs are unbearable and should have been fixed a long time ago. However, no matter if they get fixed or not, we are still left with a shell of a game that a large population of the community has already poured way too much money into, all in hopes of giving it any soul or personality possible. It does not matter how much money you spend, how many mods you stuff into your game, your Sims will still just stand there like they're on their last brain cell with no hopes or dreams for the future, without you micro-managing their life away. Until the Sims Team makes traits actually matter, a proper attraction system, personality adaptive autonomy, etc. AND don't put them behind a paywall, I don't believe we have a chance for that excitement we once had for prior Sims games.

Additionally, I can't find anywhere else that I can directly voice these complaints to the Sims team. I am aware that these problems are likely baked into the business model to get players to continue buying more and more packs to fill that void, but after over 10 years, people are getting tired of it. I really would love to hope that things will improve, but I am not going to be putting my money on it. I would love to hear other people's thoughts.
