I like the Bestselling Author career, but lately I noticed I can't publish anymore. The options on the menu at the mailbox doesn't have the self-publish or sell to publisher available. I took my mods folder out and same result, hence it is a bug. Real bummer because that is one of my favorite careers.🙄
Is your sim living in a residential rental or an apartment, or a residential home? Is this occurring with other households also?
Hi Rose! This is a residential, I don't play apartments or rentals. I have 3 sims in different saves and they all have the thing going on, I'm not sure if it shows up on non-author types, but it doesn't show up. I even downloaded a mod of Little Ms Sam's to publish books by computer and that did not even show up on the computer either. Any help or direction you can point me in would be appreciated.❤️
Hello. I am sorry that you are having this issue. Try repairing the game and clearing the cache files and see if that may help.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I have no ability to publish books at the mailbox for all saves. They are all in residential houses. I don't like apartments and rentals don't work right, so I am strictly in residentials.
Do your sims definitely have high enough writing skill to publish? Have you tested in a new save after removing mods, or only in the previously modded saves?
