First thing I checked when I got the kit. Do they break in the rain. Yes, they do. Doesn't matter if they're on or off. Makes them not very backyard usable. The stereo can go in a Sims inventory, but the "TV" can only be moved in BB mode. I can understand not being usable in the rain - or snow - but they should at least be weather proof.
I really expected them to not break while it was raining as long as it wasn't in use. At the very least we should have an option to upgrade TVs and make them waterproof. Or be allowed to put them under a pergola. All the marketing for this pack seemed to indicate that these are meant for outdoor use.
The just forget that season exist. If you play without season, no rain... so nothing breaks but yes, its total stupid that these *TV* breaks in rain. As always, the no breaking in rain mod should works too for these *TV*. ModTheSims -> Rainproof Electronics & Servos from simmytime.
