Unable to publish books (self or seller)

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All the expansion packs including lovestruck. All the stuff packs (except crystal creations, toddler stuff, my first pet kit) All game packs Kits (desert luxe, blooming garden kit, courtyard)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Please write a book and try to publish it on the mailbox. The publishing options opens up the window but books are greyed out.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims are unable to publish the self written books, when you select books to publish, all the books are greyed out and they are nonselectable.
What do you expect to see? I want this to resolved as early as possible because most of my sims are freelance writes and none of them are able to earn money.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.

@ShakaibiftikharSince you said you were in San Myshuno - do you mean residential rental as in from For Rent, or as in a City Living apartment? If you are in an apartment, there will be multiple mailboxes, but the publish actions only work on 1 of them ("your" mailbox). I'm not sure whether or not something similar would apply to For Rent's residential rentals, as I don't have that pack.
You can tell which mailbox is yours because it will have the "Get Mail" and "Pay Bills" options greyed out on it even when you don't have mail (2nd photo):
If I try to publish a book on the first mailbox, which isn't "mine" I won't be able to select my book to publish because it will be greyed out in the pop-up:
But when I publish from "my" mailbox the book becomes available and the interaction works fine.
Note: I was testing the above on Mac, on writing level 2 and again level 10. I don't have any packs on PS4, but also tested at writing level 2 in a base game residential on PS4 and it worked fine.
