university degrees and career branches

hello sims 4 community! i need some advice! so basically, my sim is currently completing a distinguished biology degree with the original plan of going into the bodybuilder branch of the athlete career.

i changed my mind and want to send him down the professional athlete branch instead. however, there are no degrees (that i know of) that'll automatically send you down that branch upon completion.

what should i do? should i just make him drop out of uni now? he's 4/12 credits through his degree currently. or should i continue uni fully or to a certain point? i basically want to get him to the start of the professional athlete branch as quickly as possible! (without cheats hehe)

thanks for reading!

  • feebebwan Like breetobreezy said, don't drop out.  Complete the degree.  Then after graduation you can do both branches of the career any time you want.  That is one of the best things DU adds to gameplay.  Otherwise, you can only do one career branch.

    Hope this helps.

  • Don’t drop out. Get the degree and when it comes time to pick that branch just pick it. You’ll still get more money because you have the degree
