Unresponsive

I have the July 2024 update and then downloaded I think 1 of the hotfixes for sure, possibly 2. But the issue I've been having for the last several days is all the household sims being stuck in whatever task they've been given. I do play with mods and i figured it was a mod issue so I removed all of them and started introducing them one by one, but the problem didn't stop, so i tried it without any mods and it continue to be stuck. Testingcheats doesn't work nor resetting the sims. Along with them continuously doing the same task and never stopping, I also can't switch the control between sims. The only time the control will switch is if I hit the menu button, but it doesn't change them being stuck in a loop. The most i can do is open the text box for cheats, the menu button, and to click on the other sims to interact with whatever sim I currently have control on.
