Uploading base game builds to the gallery, but showing multiple packs

I enjoy creating builds to upload to the gallery for other people to download. I always ON PURPOSE filter while building to make sure I only use base game or single pack. However when I upload to the gallery it then tells me ive used multiple packs. When I then check which items I've supposedly used it doesnt show. This is really unfair because players who prefer downloading base game builds etc will filter and now my build won't show when they filter base game only.

  • I think rather than only relying on the pack filters, people also use the disable pack commands to completely remove the packs temporarily for build purposes. That way the game can't claim that those packs were used. I haven't tried using the newer pack selection menu in the game recently, but there were command line codes that could be used in EA App that would launch the game with packs disabled - there's a tool on James Turner's website that players use for generating the right command line code.

I'd only do this while loading a clean save just used for building purposes. I wouldn't try disabling packs on a save that you use for gameplay and that had those packs active when the save file was saved.
