Walls/ roof won't cut away

Hey, hoping someone can help me with this issue. The last few times I have tried to play my roof and walls won't cut away, made sure I am on the right level and I have tried restarting the game and ...

Have you tried switching camera modes? Like from Sims 4 camera mode to sims 3 camera mode? I know that it sound strange, but I’ve had a similar issue before.
