weird traits given to pets?

Sorry if this post is super choppy, I never post on these kinds of things but I'm so confused that I have to ask somewhere lmao. I found a randomly generated townie with a cat, figured he was adorabl...

Looks like some of your custom traits may have carried over to your pets.
Go back to the mod creator to ask if this is supposed to happen. The mod may just need an update or a change in the settings.

Testing on a vanilla (no mods/cc) folder is the best way to investigate causes of issues. This may sound a bit scary but will help find a solution.
Here is what I recommend.
Go to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4
Rename The Sims 4 to The Sims 4.old to preserve your saves, tray, screenshots and mods folders/files.
Run Repair from Origin as described in the troubleshooting guide.
Start the game without adding anything back as a test.
The game will automatically create fresh versions of all the folders/files.
