One option is to load a previous version of your game. You can do that via the Main Menu. Select "Load" and use the little disk with an arrow symbol to load an earlier time you saved. Then replay to where you are now.

@bev6usaYou can change their major at the end of the first term, when you choose to re-enroll. It might add a class or two to the total needed, but otherwise, no harm done, and worst case they've boosted extra skills (like having a minor in real life)!
EDIT: You also can drop out and re-enroll, but you'd need to reapply for scholarships, I believe. 😉 I also don't know if there is a waiting period involved with this method, as I've never tried it.
