Why isn't there a pack for musical instruments?

So I've been playing the Sims 4 for a while now, and I've always wanted more musical instruments. I'd love to be able to have a Music Pack or something. Where you get a ton more musical instruments, maybe you can start a band and stuff. It just seems like a great idea in my opinion. I hope EA take it into consideration.

@henrylinley_89, I think a lot of people agree with you! 😉 I certainly think we need a drum set in the game, as well as the ability to form a band.  🥳  I think this ability isn't in the game yet because there are no drums!  That, and the fact that the electronic keyboard was only introduced with the City Living EP (the only other keyboard we had in the game was a massive grand piano!).  Singing also came later in the game (I think that it came with City Living, as well).

Personally, I would love to add (besides drums) a clarinet (I used to play one) and some brass instruments.  And who doesn't love a saxophone?  I would love a marimba or xylophone as well!  It would also be cool to have the ability to be in a marching band or orchestra! ❤️

So, I love your idea for a music pack!!!🥳

Which instruments would you like to see in particular? 🤔

  • I really like this idea; I think additional instruments and additional musical features would add a little more colorfulness to the game as a whole. I was impressed with the inclusion of the Music Mixing Station from Get Famous, but I'd like to see some actual additional instruments.

Another feature I'd love to see in something like this would be having Sims able to play songs together, rather than individual tracks; I recall Sims 2 doing that a ways back with drums, guitar, base, and piano; it'd be a nice throwback, and it'd also encourage musically-inclined Sims to hang out together; imagine how that would work with clubs that revolve around music?

Just a little food for thought since the topic was brought up.
