I had played with the multiplayer mod but it is limited to what you can do with one lot and family at a time. Ive been playing the sims since the first game and wholeheartedly love the franchise I just really wish we could open up like a 10 player max server with our friends where we could each run our own lots and send sims to eachothers houses.
@DiaFluff we don't really know yet. 🤔 There have been some interviews with Sims team members who have said having an online component to the Sims again was an interesting prospect. So some EA employees do seem open to the idea. However, that could mean what you are talking about with just inviting a few friends, or it could be more like the old Sims Online was where you are connected to players from all over the world, no matter if you know them or not. There has been nothing said that is 100% guarantee. However, it could be that they are thinking about adding this to TS5, or they could be thinking about a stand-alone game. 🤷♀️That said, they haven't officially announced that they are working on TS5, though many people, myself included, think they are working on it. 🙃
