Work timer resets/Sims can't go to work

I've recently encountered a new gameplay bug. I no longer get notifications about my Sims having to go to work nor do they actually go to work. Everytime the workday "starts" it resets the timer and says "Work in __ days". I've already tried and sorted out my mods to see if it was one of them **bleep**ing it up but all of them are up to date and the ones that weren't I deleted immediately. Did anyone else encounter this? I will prolly have to wait for EA to fix this too I guess.

    Yeah, I've deleted my old one where this happened the first time. The second save I started seemed to be fine at first but when I moved in a second household it started again. I don't know if it means anything but I'm using a save file by a different person (The Ultimate Save File on Curseforge) and I placed a new house for the family which is a lot more cluttered than the previous one. Could it be related to any of those things?

    Never used someone else save so not sure how safe those are. 

    Can you duplicate on a completely fresh one ?

    Sorry for the late reply, but yeah! I'll try a completely fresh one and see if that works. I'm just wondering cause it worked and then suddenly stopped working as soon as I placed a new house? Very odd

    Did you ever figure out how to fix this I also use the ultimate save file and I can’t go to work

    Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

    - Delete the ones you have
    - Trigger the error again (try to go to work)
    - Check if new ones are created
    - If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.


    Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Uploading the file is meant for troubleshooting.
