Young Adult Customization Changes Teen Customization

I don't know why this issue hasn't been brought up before, but whenever you create a Young Adult in CAS, the Teen customization changes so your Sim looks exactly like the Young Adult version. What if the Teen was going through a phase but grew out of it when they became a Young Adult? This "feature" causes problems for Simmers, like me,  who like to tell stories about the Sim's origin through CAS. I strongly believe EA should separate the Teen customization from the Young Adult customization for a better CAS experience.

I'm not sure that I understand what you mean but it sounds like you say that if you create a YA and then age her down in CAS to teen your sim retain the clothes it had as a YA. If that is the case why don't you not just give her/him the clothes you want as a teen?

If a teen does go through a phase when aging up to YA the phase will end. It does not influence the clothing.

I should've reworded it better. By "phase" I mean the goth rebellion phase teens go through in real life. I just would like the Teen version of the Sim's outfit to not change when I change the Young Adult outfit. I don't know if this is the same with Adult Sims because I recently downloaded the game. I'm sorry for the confusion. I hope this clarifies what I mean 🙂

Generally, once you become an adult, the clothes you wore previously as a teen are irrelevant because you won’t be a teen again? But yes, teen, young adult, adult, and elder are all the same height and same set of clothes. You can edit the outfits whenever you want, but they’re for the height not the age.
