Youth accounts can't see marketplace on PS5

We just started playing Sims 4 on PS5 with no EA accounts set up previously. Our 2 youth children aren't able to see the Marketplace when they play the game and get to the home screen. It's never asked us to create a EA account for them, we just opened the game and played since the start. Because they can't see the Marketplace, they aren't able to get access to the free maker drops or view packs.

Is there a way to allow this for them and still limit them from purchasing any packs? They get access to the packs once we as adults purchase them so its available for all players on the console.

Due to the online restrictions for underage and child accounts, an underage PSN or EA account would not have access to the Marketplace to purchase packs or claim the free kits.

While we can't remove those underage restrictions, you can reach out to PlayStation support here to explore some other options on this.
