The decor plates are called Paranormal Plates... Happy Haunts hint? ?
maybe this pack/trailer has a lot of hints for next year? like the japanese school uniforms?
WHY do people obsess over these? There are LITERAL Japanese school girls in this pack. Hence, Japanese school uniforms.
@Beardedgeek because, I'm not sure if you were around here in the beginning of the year, but the madea poll... official one... asking us what stuff related to teens and high schoold we preferred, and if we wanted them or not. That happened aroudn the same time they made the poll asking us Snowy Escape stuff, which activities we wanted to do on snow, etc...
Private schools and School uniforms are so alien to me. For me it's only England, Japan that does it... and some very rich and privileged Americans.
School uniforms aren't necessarily a bad thing though. And they really aren't a synonym of being rich or attending a school for the rich. It's actually a way to not tell how rich or not a person is and it's a means to avoid bullying over clothing, as everyone wears the same thing. It's ok if it's not part of your culture but don't bash it just because it's different to you.
It is in most countries, because in most countries public schools have no uniforms. So outside England and Japan (that I know of), it is only expensive private schools only kids born with a whole set of silver cutlery in their mouths can go to. AND they tend to be quite full of abuse (often romanticized abuse, like in Harry Potter); the most prestigious Swedish private school had to be shut down for a year because the hazings of new students literally involved torture.
That's not a problem related to wearing a shcool uniform though. Just their education. - kathy09065 years agoRising NewcomerThe pack looks great and looks like a lot of fun I can't wait to get this

I wish sims would actually talk while hiking and take selfies together. It felt a little awkward and like they could have been hiking alone and there would be no difference.
I expect they turn off all talk signs etc. when explaining the game otherwise we won't concentrate on what Graham's saying. The looked as if they were talking several times to me.
Yeah pretty sure they were talking. But I wonder if we can use normal talk choices while they're walking? That'd be neat.
I like the idea of my Sims being able to take a quiet, meditative walk together. - mariefoxprice835 years agoSeasoned VeteranI'll probably get the pack when it goes on sale. I see some stuff I like but I don't feel that I need it right now.

There are quite a few non-wealthy public school districts in America that have school uniforms. They tend to be solid colored polo shirts and twill solid pants/shorts/skirts. Districts have given the reason for the school uniforms as a way to combat bullying, reducing socio-economic disparity, encouraging children to focus on learning than their clothes (or classmates clothes) & increasing their sense of school community.- To me, school uniforms are a way to suppress identity and expression and I don't like them. Keep that stuff to, say, specific careers such as military where they actually make sense there.
Here, in school, I wore a uniform only for marching band and PE, but it makes sense for both occasions. - Karamazov1235 years agoSeasoned HotshotThey're very common in Catholic high schools. I went to a public high school that also had uniforms, though by the time you're a senior you stop caring and just wear whatever you want. Hope they let us do that here, just slack on the uniforms and be a rebel.

- it was really fun seeing graham again... and the world coming with SE.

Simmies: Yet another collection I will completely ignore :disappointed:
I am just not a collector in games nor in real life. Never found anything in my life i felt the urge to collect.
well in real life i applaud because there is way too many "collector" lowkey hoarders on this planet that put their self worth into stuff they own
+ i also agree that "simmies" doesn't really interest me even though i like some collectibles
but that is cause they remind me of mysims trophies that i also really dislike getting from dig piles
and provide minimal to no aesthetic value due to their cubey plasticy looking shapes
I'd much rather have detailed looking collectibles that actually feel like rare stuff
also i actually really like salary person job but thats probably cause i like the idea of having more common / less ideal jobs for my sims
like i dont want all my sims to be master painter or food critics or whatever social media influencers i want some of them to have more common jobs
