...haha i remember feeling the same way about rent. So im still 50/50 on even buying it next year !

I make it a practice to back up my entire Sims 4 folder prior to the Patch ahead of the EP dropping. If all else fails, I may just upload my families into My Library, to be on the safe side, that way should I need to restart, I won't have to go all the way back to the beginning . . . (Which I have done in the past.)

I plan to. Will be pre-ordering, in fact, pretty soon.

I REALLY want to.  I tend to buy EPs on release day. But I'm scared that this pack will break my save the way For Rent did. The mechanics seem similar. I'm still afraid to use residential rentals which is unfortunate because I really enjoyed them before they corrupted my multi year long save. I need some sort of confirmation that the pack works.

I might buy it full price which I haven't done with any pack other than seasons but I've heard about the bugs. I'm going to wait to see reviews and early access videos to see how early I'll buy it

I will buy it at some point but going to watch the gameplay from others first to make sure it's not buggy as the Sims is bugged a lot already and in my opinion they should of fixed all or most of bugs before another pack but I will probably get it at some point just to be able to have a business lot and home lot together for better gameplay for my families.

The home & business UI looks worryingly similar to For Rent as well, which means that this one could cause save corruption issues.

On sale, -50% or -60%. And if it works and no major bugs 😁

I’m sure I will get it, but might wait awhile before actually putting the lots in the world to make sure they don’t corrupt a save. Fast forward.  I didn’t update with the burglar update yet because I wanted to move a family into a residential rental first,  But I’m experiencing the lot name reverting bug with the residential I tried to change to a rental..  I’m going to download the new patch later and see if I still have that bug, so it might be awhile before I get the new pack.
