Yeah, I have plans to buy it. I guess I might get it during the first weeks when it's out.
This is a wait and see for me.
I would love to play out my Fairy In The City, Sims 3: Supernatural story in the Sims 4. It could allow me to play out the old story's background story and then play out the original story. It would allow me to enjoy a new spin on that story, which I am sure will happen. But I will need to see what these new faries are really like and what new bugs and old bugs will occur.
I really don't like the recycling game systems and this one will probably be full of it.
They should have just made a Rags to Riches Expansion and a Faries Game Pack to give full attention to each theme separately.
I wish you included or created Dragons, Elves and Dark Elves but I will look into buying the fairy and nature expansions. Also, would have been nice if you created a troll and goblin world .
No.
Yeah it's not just that. Even if you overlook fairies, which is a big draw of the pack. I know it's a bit of a mixed result when it comes to occults and I hope the skill tree is well fleshed out. Even skill trees aren't really "new" to the Sims 4, we got a skill tree in the last EP (Businesses and Hobbies) just to see what type of business owner you'd be. I mean it's a bit underwhelming.
Ailments are too similar to illnesses from Get To Work.
Apothecary skill in this new EP is similar to Herbalism from Outdoor Retreat.
We've gotten off-the-grid type stuff in Eco Lifestyle, Cottage Living, and Island Living over the years
The animations of sleeping on the ground, foraging for stuff by clicking on the ground, etc is from Werewolves.
NPC lore of having to help townies by gathering items to get rare collectibles or ingredients is too similar to Cottage Living, Life & Death, etc.
I bought it but unless I start seeing the bugs in my game start getting resolved and being less, instead of constantly seem to be more, then it will be the last one I buy. Granted, my feeling like there is more issues probably is because I get into new things I have never done before and usually the issue has been reported by others. But it is still more and more on my end. I would like to see the game smoothed out and most things working as they should before they try and release more expansions or even a Sims 5 on us. And to be honest, I am not going to repurchase all of the same stuff a fifth time, especially when the fourth time has not been as good content wise as the second and third time. I used mods in the past but I have never gotten cc from anywhere for Sims 4. I miss the online store from Sims 3 where I could use sim points and purchase all kinds of stuff and they even give us free stuff on occasion. Now I am just stuck with what comes with the game and packs and the selection is disappointing compared to the previous releases. To me anyway.
I’m planning to get it, probably not long after release. I love the look of the BB especially, and the whole nature and plants aesthetic really appeals to me. And the world will, I’m sure, be very beautiful. I’ve never been ‘into’ fairies, but I think it will be fun to add a fairy-based save to my rotation.
Yes, but probably when it goes on sale or until I get Xbox gift cards for Christmas since I'm a brokie- :-D
My daughter is buying it for my birthday! We both are excited for this pack!
Depends on the world. I'm not sold yet. My game has gotten very buggy so I don't play as much as I used to.
