It was either 2009 or 2010 when I first played the Sims. I once played Sims 2 pets on console and had a lot of fun with it. I've started noticing a pattern with my playstyle. Sometimes I start a new save after being done with the old one, and I love to create sims based on my favorite characters from a TV show, a movie, or even a game. I took a break from Sims somewhere in 2010 and began playing Sims 3 in 2012. If I had to choose my favorite memory of the game, it's pretty hard to choose because most of my games have drama in them.
The most memorable one, however, was when I played a couple who dislike each other because the husband cheated on the wife. When the wife found out one day, she got so angry that she gave him a good beating (and won, because she's athletic). After that, the husband left the wife and the kids. And she remained single for the rest of her life, content with the lack of a spouse.
I recreated the family in the Sims 4 one time, but it doesn't have the same feel. I mean, in Sims 3, whenever my teenagers fight, their parents would come calling and tell them to knock it off. It was funny to watch the more rebellious teen's reaction, but the one who didn't start the fight doesn't need to be scolded.
