My son had Sims 3 on console, and I would sometimes watch him play, later when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and going through chemo I was desperate for a distraction, and a form of entertainment that cancer didn't exist in. As a young girl I had always loved Barbies and doll houses, and then it hit me. My son's old Sims game reminded me of both. So I googled the Sims and saw that Sims 4 had been released just a year prior, I then looked at some let's play videos on YouTube and I was hooked. I drug myself to Target one day on my way home from chemo and purchased a disc of the Digital Deluxe version of S4 and have been madly in love ever since. I cannot express how much comfort and joy this game has given me when I needed it the most, and the community that has built up around it is wonderful! I am so glad to have found it all, and sincerely hope that it all continues for years to come.
Happy Birthday Sims, and many, many, more!!!!
