I agree with this. Four years later and we are missing so many basics.
No firefighters (Why? It made no sense in 2014 and makes no sense now)
No burglars
No carpools or school buses. Disappearing into thin air is still the form of transport going into 2019.
No cars
No Npc police
No playing tag
No pillow fights
No couple dancing together
No cuddling in bed or even lying on the bed.
We do have:
Sims obsessed with certain objects (the pc for instance, researching gardening is another)
In the middle of a meal sims getting up to hug
Emotions that change like a light switch. One minute sim is sad as has just witnessed a complete stranger popping their clogs in public but they walk into a nice decorated room or change lots and hey! They are now feeling energised. Trauma over.
